Dan Vaughan, Director of Music / Organist

We are justifiably proud of our church’s music program, and much of that is due to Dan Vaughan.  Dan is a 1972 graduate of Midland University in Fremont NE, with a major in liturgical organ.  He served as the Director of Music and Organist of this church from 2000 to 2004, then resigned to give his full attention to his busy pipe organ business.  Feeling a strong calling to be more active in the music of the church, however, he returned as our Director of Music in 2010.

In addition to bringing an exceptional level of organ playing skills on our historic pipe organ, Dan also is a skilled piano player. He also directs our Adult Choir and ensemble groups, as well as our talented Handbell Choir.  Administratively, he works closely with our Pastor to select and coordinate the wonderful music that graces our services and special events. Dan was also largely responsible for the restoration and upgrades on our historic pipe organ.
