YOU ARE WELCOME HERE

Our church is a growing congregation and many of us remember the experiences of visiting a church for the first time.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Presbyterians believe that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior. That is the single theological statement made at the time of baptism into the church.

HOW WE SERVE

Mission is a passion of First Presbyterian Church of Rockwall. As you explore our church, we think you will see signs of mission everywhere.

FPC Rockwall’s Vision for Racial Justice

The people of First Presbyterian Church have engaged in learning and action in recent years in the area of racial justice.  Building from a theology of love -- that God is love and we are called to love all people as children of God -- we developed the following vision statement:

To fulfill First Presbyterian Church of Rockwall’s mission to “Feel God’s Love” and “Be God’s Love,” our congregation is committed to confronting racial inequality and discrimination in our community.  We will endeavor to identify systemic racial inequality and the nature of discrimination in our midst.  We will use our voices to raise awareness of the sin of racial injustice that divides the community and harms all.  Prayerfully and with all our strength, we will strive to effect real changes to end specific instances of racial inequality and discrimination.  Our vision is to actively heal our community, bringing people together as sisters and brothers who share equally in the love of God.
